2025 in review

We'll look back on 2025 as another, very difficult year for humanity. We're always thankful for the peace and happiness that we get to enjoy in our little store and are very conscious of how fortunate we are for that. Planning as many free events as possible for our customers and our various charitable efforts is just a small token of our appreciation for our community.

Highlights include:

Live performances and meet n' greets from David Keenan, MayKay, Niall Breslin, New Dad, Tommy Flemming, 49th and Main, JC Stewart, Derek Warfield and the Young Wolfe Tones.

A mini festival from licehead, Eros and The PVP on behalf of Litany of Failures to celebrate the launch of their latest volume on vinyl.

The Quarter Dozen as part of the Limerick Jazz Festival in late September featuring our very own guitar luthier Markus Kraeber.

Superheroes landing into Steamboat for World Free Comic Day at Riverfest in May.

An event packed Record Store Day in April with 9 live DJ sets, live performances from Shiv and The Love Buzz hosted by PRESSPLAYREPEAT and Vinyl LK bookended by our day to night Vinyl LK 1 year birthday in October.

Hosting a marketing day inStore for Mike Finn's fantastic play Wreckquiem starring Pat Shortt

A signing session with the Kingfishr lads and the wonderfully fun, Hayley Williams listening party.

Two sold out exclusive outstore performances we hosted in Dolan's with Soda Blonde and The Cliffords

We're already planning events in January and for the rest of the year, tune in next year, same brat time, same brat channel.

Over and Out,

The Steamboat Team
