No Irish record store would be complete without a section for Irish Folk and Trad vinyl records. This can be a broad genre in and of itself so there's a lot of variety but we've got you covered whether you're into Folk singers like Christy Moore, instrumental trad tunes, trad fusion bands like Kíla, modern contemporary acts like The Gloaming or for some more grit - the Mary Wallopers or Lankum. 

It's pretty cool to see how much of a boom Irish music, language and culture is going on at the moment. There are so many young bands and musicians bringing something new and exciting to pair alongside some of the greats of Irish traditional and Folk music. There's also quite a few different acts who use the Irish language heavily in their music which is amazing to see and also so important and so needed, these artists have inspired so many young people to learn Irish. As a Limerick record store and musical instruments store we are visited by loads of young people and kids from all around the west of Ireland who play traditional music and the level of talent is kind of crazy!
