It's undeniable that K-Pop has taken the world by storm in the last number of years and we're delighted to stock K-Pop CD and K-Pop Vinyl and more here at Limerick Record Store, Steamboat.

K-Pop traces its roots back to the early 1990s in the Korean music landscape. During this period, a variety of musical styles were gaining popularity in Korea, such as Folk, Rock, Jazz, and Hip Hop. In 1992, Seo Taiji and Boys made history by becoming the first Korean group to achieve international success with their hit song "Nan Arayo" ("I Know").

BTS were one of the big K-Pop Breakout bands internationally, opening the door for a lot of music fans in Ireland to explore this unique genre of Pop. K-Pop is a whole world of its own with loads of variety, lore and stars. A few years ago we realised it can be hard to find K-Pop in Ireland so we're proud to be stocking K-Pop Vinyl and CD in our record store in Limerick and here, online.
