Komorebi - Vinyl Pre-Order

Swimmers Jackson releases his third album Komorebi on Wonky Karousel Records. Recorded live with his band in the room of One Cat Studios in Crystal Palace by  engineer Jon Clayton.  Jackson then flew solo to Headford in Co. Galway to record some overdubs with Irish sound engineer Rob Cotter and a few special guests, Brian Kelly (So Cow) and Rob Corcoran. The album was produced by Jesse Gander (Japandroids) at his Rain City Recorders in Vancouver, BC and mastered by Jamie Sitar.

Originally a three-piece, Jackson released two EPs under the name ‘Swimmers’, (Swimmer’s Year 2013, This Burning Circus 2015) before moving to London with no bandmates. He was left reconfiguring Swimmers songs back into solo versions. This new found confidence led to the recording of his debut album Murmuration before going on to work with Micheál Keating and Brendan Mc Inerney (Bleeding Heart Pigeons) for his second album Now Is All (2023).
Jackson still lives and works in London and has a new live band (Jimmy Lyons - Bass & Keys, Christy Anderson- Drums & percussion) who appear on his latest album Komorebi. The lead single ‘Every Time I…’ was released in April and received radio play from BBC 6 Music, RTÉ Radio, Newstalk, Radio Nova and XFM. The follow up single ‘Trichotillomania’ has a music video shot, directed and edited by James Benfield.

His influences include Elliott Smith, Low, R.E.M. , Phoenix, Tom Petty, Lou Barlow, The Shins, Neil Young, Pavement, Cass McCombs, Big Thief and Kurt Vile.
