2014 marked a turning point for Joe Bonamassa with Different Shades of Blue. Stepping away from familiar covers, he crafted his first album of all original blues material. This wasn't just a creative leap, it was a personal one. As Bonamassa reflects, "It's been a while since I’ve been involved in the writing on an entire album. So I decided I wanted to make a completely original blues album. I've really had to push myself to make everything I do better than the last project. I know the fans expect it. And I feel like I owe it to the fans to give them an original record after all these years." On its 10th Anniversary, we re-pressed the vinyl with the same audio from the original album, plus 3 bonus tracks but in a new color, blue.
