A person’s soul, we can’t see it. It makes no sense, but we all understand. I
realised that most of my creative inspiration comes from the intangible,
invisible to the eye, instinctive human behaviours, reactions, impulses and
connecting chemistry that is everywhere. It pulses between energies. Can be
beautiful and bad. It makes no sense, but we all understand.
Sadhbh Keane is a songwriter with a fresh perspective that is uniquely hers.
Blessed with a talented band and amazing producers, Anam presents her
stories through an original sound and vocals that have depth, power,
vulnerability and clarity.
Sadhbh’s debut EP in 2023 earned her Tony Clayton Lea’s One To Watch tag
in 2024. Life gets complicated and each twist, peak, trough, heartbreak and
milestone since then opened more experiences and perspectives. Anam’s
seven tracks offer something different. An outstanding collection of songs
and stories that Sadhbh has generously laid bare and wrapped into an
eclectic variety of melodies and tempos. Effortlessly, Sadhbh flows from
cryptic metaphors to unswervingly honest vulnerability.
Sadhbh’s band; Oisin, Jay and Claudia have immense talent, musicianship
and beautiful personalities; all of which have contributed hugely to this EP.
Sadhbh’s Executive producer Philip Magee was instrumental in bringing their
sound and their ambitions to a new level. Ber Quinn as producer of Signals
brings such impact with the song’s engulfing deep sonic texture that goes
beyond the speakers.
